#Resource Diary Entry 6: #Managinganger #redbeast #anger #support #parents #teachers

This book approaches anger as a big emotion like a red beast. It looks at the feeling and situations possibly influencing it. It refers to the feeling being external to the person and being quiet or becoming loud and active depending on the situation. It also approaches possible ways to help and strategies for the classroom to tame the beast. It says it is aimed at children with Asperger’s syndrome but could be applicable to many children experiencing feelings of anger at school and at home.

Variance: It could be used in combination with the Zones of Regulation and the Anger character in Inside Out.
