With the image of cats having adventures, this book offers different ways someone with Asperger may see the world. This book can facilitate discussions and reflections about how it feels to see the world this way. The images of the cats also help having this discussion in a light and humorous manner.

I read this book with a child with Asperger in a session. After reading the book, I asked the child to draw or write words about similarities and differences experienced compared to the cats in the book. It really helped understanding the child’s main needs and ways of seeing the world. This child’s connection to animals also really helped support engagement in this book and further discussions.
